Patricia “Pat” Hollenbeck, 69, formerly of Downers Grove, died Friday, June 2, in Berryville, Ark. Mrs. Hollenbeck had moved to Green Forest, Ark., eight years ago. There she became an accomplished photographer of team roping, a rodeo sport in which her husband of 51 years had become involved, said her daughter Lesann Young. Mrs. Hollenbeck spent 28 years in human resources with Magnatrol International of Downers Grove. “She and my father blended in perfectly with their new circle of friends,” her daughter said. An outgoing woman, Mrs. Hollenbeck photographed her husband’s performances, and her work was valued by competing teams he rode against in several Southern states, her daughter said. “She made everyone feel they were special, and everyone who knew her was touched by an angel,” her daughter said. “That’s the kind of woman she was.” Mrs. Hollenbeck is survived by her husband, Bill; another daughter, Jeanette Gage; a brother, Charles Villanova; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hallowell and James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove.
