Marion Busch, 88, of Arlington Heights died Saturday, June 10, in Alden Long Grove, a nursing home in Long Grove. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Busch worked on the assembly line at Bally Manufacturing Corp., a pinball machine maker in Chicago. She retired as an assembly line supervisor in 1965 after more than 30 years of service. She moved to Arlington Heights in the late 1970s to live with her daughter, Audrey Gordon. “She said things just the way they were,” said her daughter. “She wasn’t afraid to say you were wrong, and she was always there to say you were right.” Other survivors include two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. A mass will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1152 Anderson Drive, Palatine.
