Augusta B. Kierna, 82, of Crystal Lake, died Monday, June 12, in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. She was born in Knetzgau, Germany. She had been an assembler at Oak Manufacturing in Crystal Lake, retiring after 33 years. Survivors include two sons, Robert Schamberger and Ron; a daughter, Christine Walsh; a brother, Fred Muehlfelder; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m., in Querhammer and Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
