Richard E. Lang, 62, of Arlington Heights, a former longtime employee of Ameritech Corp., died Friday, June 16, in Alexian Brothers Hospice House in Elk Grove Village. Mr. Lang retired in 1995 as a manager of services for Ameritech after 35 years of service, Mr. Lang was a Marine Corps veteran. “He was a good family man,” said his wife of 36 years, Mariellen. Other survivors include a son, Mark Francis; a daughter, Jennifer Ann Hill; and a grandson. A mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
