Robert G. Allen, 65, of West Dundee died Sunday, July 2, in his home. Born in Elgin, Mr. Allen graduated from Dundee Community High School and installed phones for the Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Chicago for many years. He retired in the 1980s. He is survived by a brother, Gary, and a sister, Virginia O’Brien. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee.
