Birthday: Feb. 1.
Birthplace: Forest Park.
Occupation: Dog walker.
Current home: Barrington.
Marital status: Single.
Children: I have two children–Julie and Ty–and five grandchildren.
Car: A white 1999 Ford Escort.
Working on: I have about 10 dogs I walk every day during the week and five dogs on the weekend. They’re mostly golden retrievers, Labradors, bichons, Malteses and a beagle. I also dog-sit when people go on vacation. I just stayed with a mixed breed named Madison because he was found in Madison, Wis. I have another dog named Dodger who was found in Dodger Stadium.
The last good movie I saw: “The Cider House Rules.” It was about trying to do good.
I stay home to watch: “Frasier.”
Favorite meal: Clams, pasta with red sauce, and chocolate cake.
Favorite performers: Audrey Hepburn, Clark Gable and Gene Kelly.
Personal heroes: My grandparents. They were chased out of Prussia and my grandmother always said you can’t worry about yesterday; you can just concentrate on tomorrow.
I’m better than anyone else when it comes to: Relating to all animals. Even as a child I had so much feeling for them. I tell people, “When you hire me you’re lucky, because I do it with love.”
If I could do it over: I would have gotten involved with horses, training and riding them.
I’d give anything to meet: Bob Barker from “The Price Is Right.” He’s an animal activist and a humanitarian.
My fantasy is: I’m living it. People tell me I should take a vacation, but I feel my life is so complete with my dogs and my grandchildren.
The one thing I can’t stand: Hailstorms.
If I could change one thing about myself: I’d have better eating habits.
The three words that best describe me: Down to earth.
