Richard G. Gilbert, 65, peacefully passed away at his home in Highland Park on Monday, July 17, 2000. He was the proud owner of Denoyer-Geppert Science Co. in Chicago. Beloved husband of Nancy and the late Jacqueline; loving father of Micheal, Mark, Kim, Edward and Tracy; fond grandfather of Daniel and Jason Ortegon; dear brother of the late Robert Gilbert. In addition to his passion for his children and his manufacturing company, he enjoyed theatre, gardening, sailing, music and in general led a robust life. Visitation Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago. Service Saturday, 12 noon. Interment Rosehill Cemetery.
