Get in touch with your inner duck when you go “Paddling in the Park.” College of DuPage sponsors the free festival of canoes and kayaks at Twin Lakes Recreation Area in Palatine, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Two-hour clinics in canoeing and river and sea kayaking also are offered for $10 (children ages 10-17, $5), which includes daylong boat access. 630-942-2356.
