Florida smokers don’t deserve $145 billion for being stupid.
Forty-seven years ago, when I started smoking, cigarettes were called cancer sticks, coffin nails, etc. We didn’t smoke because of advertising; we smoked because it was “adult” and against the school rules. We knew the dangers; we smoked anyway.
Some got smart; some didn’t. We don’t deserve to be compensated for our own actions.
