Learn about traditional bookmaking in a program sponsored by the Waukegan Public Library and Chicago Hand Bookbinders.

Experts in old-fashioned bookbinding will guide participants through this time-honored process with a slide show and lecture and end the program with a hands-on project allowing everybody to make a simple handmade book of their own.

This program complements an exhibit at the library about hand bookbinding.

Registration is required, and admission is free. For information, call 847-623-2041 ext. 256.
