A motorcade of cars displaying the American flag has been organized by the Grand-Central Chicago Police District in observance of National Night Out.
National Night Out is a crime- and drug-prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.
The Chicago motorcade will begin in front of the Grand-Central District police station.
A rally and balloon release will kick off the motorcade.
