I noticed an item in the Desert Sun newspaper yesterday that reported WMAQ radio’s last day of operation.
I grew up with WMAQ and WGN all the way from childhood in Berwyn through college at the University of Illinois. Now the Los Angeles Times is owned by Tribune Company so I feel I’ve come full circle, and it’s OK.
