Like the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man and the Scarecrow, Al Gore has found something he has been lacking for years. A conscience. This would, of course, be Sen. Joseph Lieberman. He is hoping that this conscience will help him get back to Washington, D.C., for the next four years.
Choosing a running mate in hope of having some of his character rub off on you is hardly a way to treat that person, but when you’re desperate, I guess you grab at any straw. I just hope that none of Al Gore rubs off on Joe Lieberman.
