John M. Taylor, 69, of Crystal Lake died Wednesday, Aug. 9, in his home. Formerly of Chicago, he had lived in Crystal Lake for 35 years. He was a production manager at CAI Industries of Barrington, where he worked for more than 35 years. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Shirley; a daughter, Christine Rasmussen; three sons, Douglas Taylor and Robert and William Wunschel; a sister, Monica Thomaschek; and 12 grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 W. Bull Valley Rd., McHenry.
