John R. Stevens, age 80, of Mt. Prospect, U.S. Army Vet. WWII, passed away suddenly Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000, loving husband of Isabell, nee Hennig; devoted father of John (Rita), Gregory (Mary Janice), Robert (Carla) and Patricia (Michael) Kassinger; proud grandfather of Kevin (Jana), Kelly, Nicole, Mark and Alex Stevens and Steven and Brianna Kassinger; greatgrandfather of Grace Stevens; loving brother of Glendolyn Maxson; fond uncle of 14 nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect, on Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. Friends and family will gather Tuesday 9 a.m. at the funeral home for procession to St. Raymond Church, Elmhurst Rd. and Lincoln St., Mt.
