Alverta N. McDuffie, nee Nussbaumer, born to Matt and Ruth, nee Turley, Nussbaumer on December 23, 1914 in DeSoto, MO, passed away on September 3, 2000, attaining the age of 85 years. She formerly resided in Evanston, IL and was a member of St. Nicholas Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband George J. McDuffie. She was an active member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Desoto, MO, as well as the Duaghters of Isabella.
