Sr. Candida Lund, O.P., Chancellor and past president of Dominican University (Rosary college), River Forest, beloved daughter of the late Frederick S. and Katharine M. Lund, nee Murray; dear sister of K. Eleanor (the late Robert B.) Spitzig; cherished aunt of Katherine (Lawrence) Goulet, Peggy (Lance) David, Laurie Spitzig (Steven Anderson) and Mari (Brent) Enwright; doting great-aunt of Dawn, Katie, Jordan, Christian and Grant. Sister was a beloved member of the Sinsinawa Domincan Congregation for 54 years. A Wake will be held on Thursday, Sept. 7, from 1 to 9 p.m. in the Rosary Chapel at Dominican University, 7900 W. Division St., River Forest. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Sept. 8, 10:30 a.m. in the Lund Auditorium at Dominican University. Continuing services will be at the Sinsinawa Dominican Motherhouse on Friday, Sept. 8th, with a remembering and wake service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 9th at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Clara Cemetery.
