James J. Murphy, died peacefully at home with his family on August 18, 2000 in Moraga, California. Beloved husband for 51 years of Virginia Cleary Murphy; loving father of Maureen, Denise, Jenny, Nancy, Jim and the late Gerald; devoted grandfather of Danielle, Ashley, Eric, Ryan and Christopher; dear brother of Virginia Kostel. A native of Chicago. Age 77 years. Retired from Mckesson-Robbins Company. Services were held in Moraga, CA on August 24.
