There are two interesting things I pick up from the media backlash at George W. Bush about his calling Adam Clymer a you-know-what:

1. It’s funny that we’re criticizing Bush for using a word that is heard so frequently on television that kids are probably numb to the word by now.

2. It’s also funny that calling someone a name is somehow perceived worse than cheating on one’s spouse and lying in federal court about it.

This hypocrisy is so thick you couldn’t cut it with a chainsaw.
