Kam-Young Wong, long time Hyde Park resident, passed away Sept. 5, at the University of Chicago Hospitals due to complications from a fall. Born in Kobe, Japan in 1908, he was the eighth child of Wong Lai Choi, a Chinese national. He had a life long interest in photography and graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is survived by Davina, his wife of 48 years; and his daughter, Sylvia. Memorial services will be held Sunday, Sept. 10, at 2:30 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church of Chicago, 5650 S.
