Charlotte Kas Connelly “Sherry”, 48, formerly of Bensenville, wife of Donal; compassionate heart of son, James, 16; guiding light of daughter, Kimberly, 13. Passed away Sept. 8, 2000 at Hopewell House in Portland, Oregon. Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Christmas Eve, 1999, she began a journey, like the runner she was, which had pain, hills, joy and disappointments. Sherry took the time given to her to teach us more about dignity, perseverance and love than we could teach our children on our best days. Sherry is survived by her brothers, Thomas (Jeanne), Roger (Andrea), Stephan and Ronald (Bonnie); sister-in-law, Katherine; nephews, Christian, Anthony, Jason and Matthew; nieces, Griffin and Mary Bailey-the apple of her eye and her loving goddaughter.
