Doris Smith, nee Goverdarica, age 80, born in Chicago, died of a heart attack in Torrance, California on Sept. 9, 2000. Loving and devoted mother of Pamela Grodin and Corinne Stefanko. Survived by grandsons Aaron and Adam Grodin and their families; plus great-grandson, Matthew Grodin. She is interred next to her beloved husband, Harold A. Smith. She will be sadly missed.
