Samuel S. Armstrong, 65, beloved husband of Carol; loving father of Jimmy, Sam Jr. and Richard; stepfather of Richard Massenburg and Angel Clifton; dearest brother of Charlotte, Alice and Caroline; surviving father, Samuel S. Armstrong Sr.; proud master of Precious, Martin and Rags. Mr. Armstrong was a retired truck driver of 40 years. After a long battle with diabetes, he passed away on September 28 at Rush Hospital. Visitation at Gerardi Funeral Home, 95th Ave., Frankfort, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston, IL. 815-469-2144.
