Lillian Brydl Janek, nee Holecek, passed away on Sept. 30, 2000 at the age of 92. Resident of Brookfield for 58 years, beloved wife of the late Frank Brydl and Joseph Janek; loving mother of Mildred (and the late Ronald) Schalk; dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Resting Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, 2 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 3, 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 W. 31st St., Brookfield. Funeral Tuesday, 11 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. She was very active in many organizations including the Dolibor Club and Sumava Resorts Indiana Association. In lieu of flowers memorials to C.S.A. appreciated.
