See what Waukegan’s newest generation of actors and writers have been up to at “Rip Van Millennium,” a timely take on the Rip Van Winkle fairy tale written and performed by children enrolled in the Waukegan Park District’s Kids Play theater program.
With help from director Domenick Danza, the 14 kids in the troupe rewrote the familiar tale to put Rip to sleep for 1,000 years. See what the year 3000 looks like through his sleepy eyes.
