The White Sox have been the best team in baseball all season long (I’ve been a fan for 60 years). On Sept. 24, the White Sox clinched the division championship. My beloved Tribune (I’ve been reading it since the ’40s) devoted all of 217 1/2 column inches to this feat.
Had this been the Cubs, you wouldn’t have measured the coverage in inches but in pages!
