Marie Elizabeth Masters, age 95, a life long resident of Chicago passed away at St. Anthony’s Nursing Home, Crown Point, IN on Sunday October 1, 2000. Marie was Building Manager for the Butler Building in Chicago for many years. She was proceeded in death by her husband William Masters; daughter Virginia (late Francis) Meisl, Terrence, John and Margaret Birmingham; brother Francis Birmingham and son-in-law Leonard Fairbairn; she is survived by her daughter Marian Fairbairn of Crown Point, IN; son William (Jean) Masters of FL; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother George (Jackie) Birmingham of FL and sister-in-law Marge Birmingham of IL; many nieces and nephews. Prayer services will be held Thursday October 5, 2000 at 9:45 a.m. at the Hornburg-Klein Evergreen Funeral Home, 2955 W. 95th St., Evergreen Park, IL to Holy Redeemer Church for mass of christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Evergreen Park. Friends may visit at the Hornburg-Klein Evergreen Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m.
