The use of mifepristone (RU-486) to procure abortion is morally no less abominable than the killing of an unborn child by surgical means (Page 1, Sept. 29). Both methods end the life of a defenseless and voiceless human person.
As a physician I am saddened to read of doctors applauding the fact that our nation has legalized yet another technique for the destruction of human life.
As a citizen I am appalled that the fate of unwanted children in our society is all too often extermination by medical execution.
