Hornick, age 89, of St. John, IN, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2000, preceded in death by his wives Marie and Augusta; loving father of Patricia (Thomas) Krowlik, Marilyn (Dr. John) Bonaguro and Bernadine (Leonard) Rhein; beloved grandfather of James, Jeanne, Bernadine (Michael) Sedor, Jeffrey, Leonard, Jill, Thomas, Jacklyn, Patricia and Joi; devoted great-grandfather of John, Kaitlyn and Kevin; cherished stepfather of Shirley (Robert) Gallagher; fond brother of Julia (late Val) Bankes and Elsie (late Donald) Lampert; numerous nieces, nephews, stepgrandchildren and other family members.
