I agree with Clarence Page that certain music and video games should not be sold to little kids, but I disagree that they should not be sold to teens. We are old enough to make our own decisions, and this would be just another one of those things to rebel against.

We know the difference between right and wrong, and just because we listen to CDs with explicit lyrics, like Eminem’s, it does not mean we will take those words literally.

Even Eminem in his CD said, “A lot of people think that what I say on record, or what I talk about on the record, that I actually do in real life, or that I believe in it.”

We will not all of a sudden turn violent because of too many violent movies. That takes time, like a bad childhood or neglectful parents.

It’s a parent’s job, not the media’s, to control their own kids.
