What well-known political candidate:

Advocates taking from the rich and giving their money to the poor?

Advocates free markets while putting one hand on the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to manipulate the price of crude oil in a thinly veiled attempt to buy votes?

Is an advocate for tobacco farmers and was one himself?

Supports a tobacco subsidy for growers in the face of more than a decade of caution on cigarettes sold in America, thereby subsidizing the premature horrible death of tens of thousands of people all around the world?

Attacks the HMOs? (Not long ago I had a $40,000 total hip replacement, fully paid for by my HMO with nary a squawk.)

Attacks “big oil,” which delivers gasoline to us (which, when adjusted for inflation, is cheaper than it cost during World War II)? (And just what party’s tax-and-spend policies brought us that inflation?) Big Oil goes to the Middle East, drills wells in the inhospitable desert, pumps that crude oil to ocean ports, ships it thousands of miles to be processed, ships it to your local service station to be put in your gas tank for less than the cost of a gallon of milk produced in Harvard, Ill.

Is reputed to own shares of Occidental Petroleum?

Attacks the drug companies with one breath and a few paragraphs later advocates major government expenditures for advanced medical research?

Who does he think does major research?

And this hypocrite wants to be your president?

Wake up America.

The woods are on fire and George Bush is the fire department.
