Betty C. Jones, 72, of Glenview, October 7, 2000, beloved wife of 51 years to Hooper; loving mother of Terry (Mark) Hickey, Hooper “Rick” (Marybeth) Jones and Christine (Mark) Farrahar; proud grandmother of Jason and Erin Hickey, Erica, Rebecca and Hooper “Bill” Jones and Brett, Drew and Haley Farrahar; dear sister of Jonny (Jean) Furer, Harley (Dion) Furer, Lloyd (Jackie) Furer and Chuck Furer. Betty was an accounting major at Bowling Green State University and a member of Alpha Ki Omega Sorority. She was formerly employed with H & R Block. Betty was past president and current treasurer of The Glenview Square Dance Club. Her loves included her grandchildren, gardening and her home. Visitation Tuesday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at N.H. Scott & Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, 1240 Waukeegan Rd., Glenview (2blks south of Lake Ave. on westside) and 10:30 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmette, corner of 9th and Greenleaf Ave., Wilmette.
