Retired from the Railroad after 43 years with Fruit Growers Express. 60 year charter member of Evergreen Park Masonic Lodge #1171 A.F. & A.M., 36 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Damascus Chapter of Tinley Park, IL. Cherished husband of Dorothy Swann, nee Schryver; devoted father of Douglas E. Swann of Evergreen Park and Ruth Ann Stryjewski of Clarksville, TN; dearest grandfather of David Stryjewski and Mari Ann Stryjewski of Clarksville, TN, and Lisa Swann, Amy Swann and Christen Swann of Evergreen Park, IL. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 13, 2000 at 10 a.m. at the Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Lawn. Interment Mt. Greenwood Cemetery.
