The Terra Museum is a cultural gem (“City may lose museum it hardly knew,” Metro, Sept. 24). It focuses on the American experience in art and helps illuminate our common history in this country.
It fills a void and complements the Art Institute, Museum of Contemporary Art and other museums and galleries.
In Chicago the Terra can become a major force in American art and history. This museum belongs here.
