Olive Wier, 91, formerly a longtime resident of LaGrange Park, died October 7, 2000, in Overland Park, Kansas. She is survived by her husband Grant; three sons Robert, Donald and Richard; six grandchildren Douglas, Chip, Christi, John, Michael and Matthew; and two great-grandchildren Jonathan and Jeremy. She is remembered for her love of family and friends and of downhill snow skiing which she reluctantly retired from in 1995. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 20 at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, 150 S. Ashland, LaGrange, IL. Gifts and memorials to the church.
