Resident of Downers Grove since 1976. Baker at Fingerhut Bakeries in Cicero for over 25 years. Retired from Busy Bee Bakery in Downers Grove. Former volunteer of Bellwood and Downers Grove Fire Depts. Former husband of Garnelle (Hula) MacDonald of Victor, Colorado and Alice Novak of Downers Grove. Survived by his daughters, Laura (David) Cichon of Bolingbrook, Michele (William) Johnson of Woodridge and Noel Wollenberg of Naperville; grandpa to Tiffany, Maddie, Samantha, Aaron, Rachel and Amanda; also to five stepgrandchildren and baby due in November. Funeral Service Saturday, October 14, 10 a.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove, IL. Interment Mount Emblem Cemetery.
