Burke, nee Ilg, age 98, late of Oak Lawn, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, member of St. Gerald Altar and Rosary Society, cherished wife of the late Eugene Burke Sr.; devoted mother of the late Eugene (Lynn) Burke Jr., Florence (William) Werner, Evelyn (late Daniel) Knight Sr., Alice (late William) Vail Sr., Leo Burke Sr. and Rosemary (Alex) Kazmierczak Jr.; loving sister of the late Gertrude (late John) Burke and the late August (late Nora) Ilg; special grandmother of 24; precious great-grandmother of 68; dearest greatgreat-grandmother of three; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday, Oct. 13, 2000 at 9:15 a.m. from Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero, Oak Lawn, to St. Gerald Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
