Gerald C. Martin, 74, of Northfield, died Oct. 11, 2000, in Highland Park Hospital, beloved husband of Lyn; loving father of Gregory (Marianne), Scott (Noreen), Jill (William) and Kevin (Jennifer); grandfather of Christopher, Brian, Jeffrey and Allison, Ian, Julie and Stephanie; stepfather of Linda and Christie (John); he is also survived by a brother Clifford, a sister Norma (Cal); three stepgrandchildren, Benjamin, Emily and Sarah; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Mr. Martin was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II and Korea and an active member of the National Guard. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, at Northfield Community Chapel, 400 Wagner Rd.
