Norman P. Renner, 83, formerly of Aurora, IL, passed away at his home in Naples, FL on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000. He was born Sept. 24, 1917 in Batavia, IL. Survivors include his wife Loie Renner; one brother Elmer (Dorothy) Renner and one sister Louise (Louis) Szilage; his children Norma Exline, Jerry “Geeg” Renner, Dan (Carm) Renner, Tim Renner, Kathy (Brian) Dolan, Tom (Mary Lou) Renner, Don “Goose” (Debbie) Renner, Robin (Diane) Renner and Marianne Renner; also 23 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and a special companion and caregiver Mary Ann Moore. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, 2000 at 10 a.m. from the Dieterle Memorial Home with the Rev. Jock Ficken officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Aurora.
