The Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater commemorates Hispanic Heritage Month with a plethora of dancers, artists and singers this weekend. Five dance companies join the fiery circle of performances at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Northshore Center for the Performing Arts, 9501 Skokie Blvd., Skokie ($15-$30; 847-673-6300), and at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Morton High School Auditorium, 2423 Austin Ave., Cicero ($10; 773-794-ARTS). Elsewhere, polyphonic harmonies from generations past will warm your cockles when the Georgian National Singing and Dancing Ensemble performs “The Legend of Tamar” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cadillac Palace, 151 W.
