By refusing to give any attention whatsoever to Libertarian Harry Browne, you contribute to the further deterioration of our liberty and our political process.
Browne is on the ballot in all 50 states. He is the head of a well-organized party with a coherent message that ought to be heard.
Or are you in the media just too chicken-hearted to air a legitimate and articulate challenge to government authority because–let’s face it–the government controls pretty much every aspect of American life? You don’t want to tick any of those powerful people off, by reporting on someone who questions their drug war, their Social Security scam, their education monopoly, not to mention the arrogant imperialism of their foreign policy. Is that it?
Or maybe you think the electorate is just too stupid to understand any candidate who’s not already a brand name.
Don’t tell me Browne is not newsworthy. You control what’s newsworthy. More analysis has been given to George W. Bush’s smirk and Al Gore’s wardrobe than to the Libertarians’ views, which–guess what–are closest to what the Constitution actually says.
