As an admittedly jealous Cubs fan who endured the noise this season from the suddenly long-time Sox fans, I can sympathize with the South Siders and their team’s playoff efforts. I am willing now to make a concession to these people: I believe that the 2000 White Sox are almost as good, if not as good, as the 1969 Cubs.
