I was dismayed at the slap on the wrist given to hockey player Marty McSorley for his vicious attack last spring to the head of Donald Brashear.
He should have been sentenced to a couple of years in jail.
It would have sent a badly needed message to other goons in the NHL that their hockey sticks belong on the ice.
