De Jure, age 38, of Addison for five years, formerly of Glen Ellyn for 25 years, born Jan. 5, 1962 in Upper Darby, PA, died Oct. 11, 2000 in Elgin, IL, a scholar-Civil War historian, beloved fiance of Sandy Hudson; loving son of Corita De Jure; fond brother of Joe (Gloriane) De Jure and of Stacey De Jure; dear uncle of Emma and Jack; preceded in death by his father, Joseph T. De Jure. Visitation Sunday, Oct. 15, 2 to 4 p.m., with Prayer Service at 3:30 p.m., Rev. Mr. Ron Yurcus officiating, at Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. Interment private.
