Longdon retired C.P.D., age 81, beloved husband of Sophie, nee Kopis, and the late Harriet, nee Pawelczek; loving father of Ronald (Maryellen) Longdon and Darling (Michael) Detty; dear brother of Clyde (Carmen) Longdon; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Funeral 10 a.m. Monday from the Lawrence Funeral Home, 4800 N. Austin at Lawrence to St. Constance Church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions St. Jude Childrens Hospital, Memphis TN. would be appreciated.
