Now that we have seen the candidates in action, we know the choices to vote on: Will it be a “smirk” or a “sneer” for president? Or how about a somber thinker or a grinning clown as the running mate? Do you want facts or embellishments (some call them lies)? What about appearance? Should a candidate show his concern for the dignity of the office with proper attire or dress down to pretend he is one of us to get votes (what an insult)? Is it better for America to have candidates who appear serious or should it be the prancing around a stage like monkeys doing high fives?
Think along the lines of seeing your next president sitting at a table with the leaders of other countries and envision the above traits and actions. Which president would be esteemed and honored, and which one would destroy completely what’s left of the respect and dignity of the U.S. presidency?
