Molly Horstman, nee Spicer, of LaGrange, died October 13 of complications from breast cancer. As a lifelong resident of LaGrange, Molly was an enthusiastic community volunteer who also enjoyed bowling, bridge, and golf at LaGrange Country Club. She was much beloved for her wit, caring and humor. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Ann Spicer, also of LaGrange. Molly was the loving mother of three sons, James R. (Sandy), Michael E. (Sonja), and Christopher J. (Patti); and dear sister of Sally (Gary) Cranor, Jennifer (Jay) Manz, Bill (Patsy) Spicer, Thomas Spicer, Cece (Jim) Currie, and John Spicer; she was the favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th Street, Countryside. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Monday at St. Cletus Church, LaGrange. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
