High-energy physicist Leon Lederman will review the status of science on a broad level and discuss beliefs in astrology, UFO sightings, alternative medicines and postmodernism in “Science and Anti-Science: Technology and its Burdens.”
This is the first in a series of seminars and dialogues for Illinois educators sponsored by the Illinois Math and Science Academy Great Minds Program. Lederman, one of the academy’s founders, joined its staff in September 1998 to lead the Great Minds Program.
