Richard Edwin Young, 49, of La Grange, died Oct. 11, 2000. His wife of 22 years, Nancy, preceded him in death. Survivors include his children, David (Jeanette) Godsted and Tracy (John) Yelen; his grandchildren, Daniel Yelen and Marc and Seth Godsted; his parents, Vincent and Leona Young; his sisters, Patricia (Kenneth) Johnson and Barbara Young Styles; his brothers, James (Susan) and Eric; his nieces and nephews; his loving friend, Annette Miller, and his dear friends, Carol Hughes and Bill Goodall; and a large extended family. Family was an important part of his life. He was a friend to all he met. A chance to meet with the family beginning at 5:45 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2000 both prior to and after a 7 p.m. Memorial Service at Trinity Covenant Church, 9230 S. Pulaski Rd., Oak Lawn, IL.
