Final approval and annexation of the 644-home Leighlinbridge subdivision, one of the largest ever planned in Manhattan, will be considered at a special meeting of the Village Board Tuesday.
The meeting was canceled at the last moment last week.
The board is likely to approve the proposal after more than a year of negotiations with V3 Realty of Oakbrook over housing density, wastewater treatment capacity, school property donations and impact fees.
The 215-acre subdivision is planned for both the east and west sides of Gougar Road, with Brown Road its southern boundary, Manhattan Road on the north and the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad on the east.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Village Hall, 245 State St.
